Friday Night

We're not waiting until Saturday to get the party started. We've got activities throughout the park on Friday, so be sure to get there and check out the fun! Program begins at 3:00 pm.

Saturday and Sunday

We've got some important updates to Program. Be sure to read the Final Bulletin. for all the last minute questions you may have. Check out each of the Quest Pages for more updates on the specific programs available.

Carboard Boats, Stars, and Segways, oh My!

Be sure to check out the updates, especially the cool new programs from the Saint Louis Science Center including the Planetarium Show, and Segways. You'll need need a waiver filled out for the Segways before the event, so plan ahead!

And your Troop or Crew shouldn't miss out on the cardboard canoe race. Every Troop and Crew is invited to build your best boat and race on Saturday afternoon. Check out the information here.

Saturday Night Campfire Show

Art Hill will again be the location of the enormous campfire stage show. The show begins at 8:00 pm on Saturday night and will highlight our Centennial year with a bang! Literally. Family and friends are welcome to join us.  Scouts will march into the arena from their campsites behind bands and flags.

Cub Scouts

Tiger Cubs and Wolf Cubs will be able to spend the entire day Saturday having a great time participating in events especially for them. We have reserved the Upper MUNY parking lot for Cub Scout dens and packs to come right into the center of the Park, park your cars, be greeted there and issued your emblems and program guides. Then off you go for a day filled with fun. We recommend that you pack your lunch with you. Make sure that you plan to stay for the Campfire Show and march in with your district. Following the Show, the MUNY parking lot is a short walk and quick access out of the Park.

Webelos

Webelos dens may choose to spend the entire weekend or just for the day on Saturday. Each districts’ staff will determine whether all Webelos dens will camp together, or whether you will camp with a troop acting as your host. Webelos and their leaders register with their pack, regardless if they are camping with a troop or not.

Boy Scouts

All Scout Troops will camp by district. Each district has a team of volunteers who will be coordinating check-in, camping spots, mobilization to the Campfire Show and religious services. Water, porta-potties, and trash will all be located close to you district’s camping area.
We recommend that you pack light, bring easy to prepare foods, and make arrangements for Scouts to take their lunches with them. Remember that program starts Friday afternoon and goes through noon on Sunday. Think about easy meals for your Scouts so they do more program and less meal prep and clean-up. A little planning can make the weekend easier since you will not have to bring cooking and cleaning gear.

Venturers and Explorers

A special camping area has been set-aside for all Venturers and Explorers. Many of you will have an option to serve in a limited staff role. But we want you out there having fun too, so even staff members will not be tied-up all day. On Friday evening we will be holding a special Venturing and Exploring Recognition event  called "Kickin' it off with a Bang" at the MUNY,  that you won’t want to miss. Ice block sledding and a Cardboard Boat Regatta on the Grand Basin will be great highlights.
